This product is made from green-lipped mussel under the strict quality control. Green-lipped mussels are naturally farmed in the clean ocean of New Zealand, called a ‘paradise on the earth’.

Healthyways Green Lipped Mussel products are sourced from mussels harvested in clean waters (approved from FDA of USA, Europe and Japan) administrated under New Zealand governmental agencies.

Mussel Processing

Healthyways Live Mussel Extract products are produced by one-step-handling process adopting a high speed centrifugation method. This fast process helps protect the products quality by introducing no heat. After this, the product is quickly spray-dried under low temperatures. The alternative to this is a freeze-dry method usually used for mass production. Short processing times prevent the contamination from a production process or the deterioration of raw materials caused by a lengthy production period. The quality of the Live mussels are guaranteed as they are produced using HACCP programmes verified from MAF. Active Ingredient of Liprencell

Green Lipped Mussel - The main active component of green lipped mussel are the molecules EPA, DHA, ETA and OTA. These polyunsaturated fatty acids, eg so called Omega-3, are combined as a unique structure which has an anti-inflammatory and the anti-oxidant function. Glucosamine - Glucosamine is a form of amino sugar that is produced naturally in the body and is important for the manufacture of cartilage and keeping healthy. Shark Cartilage Extract - Chondroitin - The reason why Shark Cartilage has been known that it is effective for joint problems is because of joint protection of Chondroitin, a mucopolysacharride in Shark Cartilage. This substance is needed for the body however, with advancing age, the ability to produce this substance may diminish so that many people are exposed to diseases with joint problems. Omega-3 - Omega-3 is the substance of anti-inflammatory effects and anti-oxidant that has lots of DHA and EPA extracted from blueback fish that helps to improve blood-circulation, supply nutrition and reduce pains for joint.
